U-turn Program
Our Program Goals
The goal of the U-TURN program is to empower boys through discovery and discussion of history, culture, and social forces surrounding them.
During this 6-week intensive virtual program, boys learn critical thinking and global awareness skills through leadership development, drug awareness, conflict resolution, political education, and community service.

- Demonstrate knowledge of our curriculum issues and the world
- Build self-esteem, confidence, and self-respect
- Explore beyond one’s comfort zone and challenge one’s self
- Embrace the ideals of brotherhood
- Discover one’s individual/creative voice
Mentors support participants in developing life statements to define what it means to be a brother, a man, and a leader. Participants also create individual Oaths of Dedication-personal testimonies to how they will live their lives.
