Mental Health Walk 2026
Join On Solid Grounds for our annual Mental Health Awareness Walk! Together, we will break the stigma and remind the community that it is okay to seek help. This uplifting, family-friendly event features great music, food trucks, local vendors, and a health van offering blood pressure checks. We are also honored to partner with the Office of the Mayor of North Charleston, who will have a dedicated table at the event!

Each year, the community is asked to donate $10 to support the mental health initiatives at On Solid Grounds Counseling. Mental Health Matters!

In 1999, On Solid Grounds was founded by Dr. Sabrina Pinckney. On Solid Grounds was established as a community-based nonprofit organization that offers counseling services to children and their families in Charleston, South Carolina and surrounding areas. The mission of On Solid Grounds is to provide quality, comprehensive and affordable counseling services to children and their families.

On Solid Grounds' philosophy of counseling begins with grace and ends with a willingness to enter into an individual's experience alongside them. On Solid Grounds believes in holistic healing that takes into consideration the whole person-physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. On Solid Grounds believes that counseling is a pathway for growth and healing. It is an opportunity for the client to explore his or her own thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
